Why We Started Baking?
We're Maria and Lorenzo, a passionate duo with a lifelong love for food. Our journey towards a plant-based lifestyle sparked a passion for creating delicious, wholesome vegan treats that not only satisfy cravings but also nourish the body and soul.
Disappointed with the limited vegan options available in Dublin, five years ago we started experimenting with flavours and ingredients. Our combined experience and a sprinkle of creativity led us to develop incredible vegan recipes that rivaled (and even surpassed!) their non-vegan counterparts.
Sweet Almond's Growth Story
We started small, sharing our baked goods at the beloved Bushy Park Market, where our bicycle-powered stall quickly became a local favourite. Fueled by the overwhelming response, we knew we had something special to share.
Today, Sweet Almond is proud to offer a wide range of 100% vegan cakes, loaves, cookies, muffins, and more – all made with love and the finest natural ingredients. We're committed to making plant-based eating accessible and delicious for everyone, one sweet bite at a time.
